Yesterday, I joined business leaders from across the state for the Texas LGBT Chamber of Commerce’s Advocacy Day at the Capitol. It was an event full of energy, inspiration, and action—and a powerful reminder that engagement in public policy is a business imperative.
From early morning coffee with colleagues to sitdown conversations with lawmakers, we saw what civic leadership can look like when it’s fueled by purpose and driven by business. I’m so proud of the role our Texas business group is playing—not just in driving the economy, but in shaping the future of the state.
